Individual Therapy
Therapy happens weekly or as needed based on your needs. During our 60-minute therapy sessions we talk through the things that are bothering you and identify solutions to help you feel better. I use a solution-focused approach during our therapy sessions. This approach ensures that our work together is practical, meaningful, and centered around what’s happening with you right now. Depending on your needs I may use Cognitive Behavior Therapy or Dialectical Behavior Therapy to make sure you are getting the most out of our work together. You can expect to leave each session with new insight and skills you can incorporate immediately.
Couples Therapy for Infidelity
Married or unmarried couples see me together to get help in their recovery from betrayal. During our 90-minute sessions we work through obstacles keeping you and your partner from having the relationship you want. My approach to couples therapy is appropriate for couples who want to work through the discovery of an infidelity in their current relationship with the goal to preserve and strengthen the relationship or to separate more amicably. The process of couples therapy involves an initial 90 minute session with you and your spouse/partner to identify where you are in the recovery process. Thereafter I see both of you weekly to work on emotion management, forgiveness, communication, and trust building. I may also suggest individual sessions to work though individual roadblocks in your recovery with your partner.
Relationship Skills Coaching
These coaching sessions are tailored for anyone who wants to improve their relationship skills. On our first meeting we identify your goals as well as your strengths and weaknesses in relationships. Together we create a plan to help you meet your goals. Coaching sessions are 60-minutes and are solution-focused to help motivate you and get you unstuck from patterns that stand in your way of improving your behaviors in relationships.
